Swimming Program
The
Grade 3 & 4 students will be starting their swimming program at the
Aquarena on Tuesday, October 7th.
Please
pass along the permission form, fees, and information sheet to their classroom
teacher by Wednesday, October 2nd.

After-School Sports Program
The
grade 6 students have already started their after-school sports program. This program has
13 boys and 30 girls.
The
schedule for After-School Sports is as follows:
Monday (Boys) 2:45
p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday (Girls) 2:45 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Please
ensure that your child is picked up immediately following the 4:00 p.m.
session. Thank-you!
Intramural Sports Program
Elementary
students (Grades 4/5/6) have started a lunch-time soccer program. Over 95% of elementary students have sign-up
for this program.
Grade
6 students are helping Mr. Coles and Ms Wade run this program. Thirty-five students applied for the job by
writing a letter of application. Mr.
Coles hired them all!
Grade Level Programs
This
information will help parents and students see the various programs offered to
K-6 Students as they progress through Paradise Elementary. It is our intention to ensure an
extra-curricular program for each grade level.
Grade Kindergarten: There are two
skating sessions at Twin Rinks scheduled in late January. (We do have a supply
of skates and helmets if your child is not equipped).

Grade 2: There will be one/two outdoor sessions scheduled on
snowshoeing and cross country skiing starting in late January. This will take place at
Grade 3: Swimming lessons will start in late October for Grade
3&4 students. All lessons will take
place at the aquarena.
